Ahhhh!!! Miro and Ian….I forgot how much I absolutely adore these two. I remember from All Kinds of Tied Down loving how Ian was all in after Miro realized how Ian felt. I totally loved how he never second guessed it and never really hesitated, he was in it because it was Miro. He was in it because of Miro and I friggn loved it. That whole dynamic is multiplied by 100 in this book. Miro and Ian’s chemistry, passion, and love is almost otherworldly…their connection is so much stronger in this book and after book 1 I really didn’t think that was possible.
Fit to be Tied starts up not long after book 1 ended. Miro and Ian are living and loving together. They are still active US Marshals who watch each other’s backs on the regular. Miro and Ian are both hot heads and they’re incredibly passionate so they find themselves in some dangerous situations. Miro and Ian both struggle with their protectiveness over each other. They struggle with moving their relationship to the next level; one wants to and ones happy the way things are. What’s abundantly clear is the incredible love they share. And the passion between them has only grown hotter since book 1. They continually burn the pages with their chemistry.
As these things go with these two there’s crime, violence, the baddest of bad guys, kidnappings, relocating, pain, hurt, family drama, and Miro’s ridiculously awesome wardrobe!! There’s also Phoenix, AZ!!!!!! OMG, I was tickled to death to read all about my stomping grounds. Places I go to this day were in this book. LOVED THAT!!! But seriously…this book was epic…sex, crime, drama….EPIC!! Love these two men….so hard!!!
There’s absolutely no question that I’m a tried and true Mary Calmes fan. Her writing always pulls me in. Her characters are always the ones that stand out in my mind. They’re so strong, possessive, aggressive, passionate, and flawed…they’re perfect and I’ve fallen in love with them all. This author is PHENOMENAL and incredibly addictive. I absolutely recommend this book and while you’re at it…read them all!!
